Slow design for conscious consumers, Akelei Designs creates eco-friendly products, handmade in Berlin with organic, sustainable or vintage materials. Hand-drawn patterns are applied on unisex scarves, vegan electronics felt cases, bio & fair T-shirts for her & him, kid bibs or even keychains.
Behind this label is Céline Pelé, a french costumer and textile artist who studied applied arts and illustration, now specialized in costume aging and costume accessories. She combines the taste for timeless lines with the never-ending inspiration of the natural world. Printing floral elegance in subtle colors with variations makes each item one-of-a-kind, bringing back nature in everyday life.
